Air-conditioning and Fans

Control one or all of the air-conditioners and ceiling fans in your house. This eliminates wall clutter and allows you to “power-down” from your bedside Keypad. Exhaust fans in the bathroom activate automatically, reducing switches and adding simplicity.

Part of our attempts to eliminate wall clutter and simplify day to day activities includes controlling ceiling fans and air conditioners. Both of these items usually have their own controller fixed to the wall. We can combine all climate controls into the Vantage system.

Keypads can turn air-conditioners and fans on and off with the press of a button, they can also adjust the temperature up and down. Touch-panels (either wired or wireless) can also handle all functions of climate control as well as give you the current temperature, outside temp, and lets you set the thermostat for the air-con to adjust to.

Many houses have large doors opening onto terraces and patios. We can add sensors to your system so that the air-conditioner automatically turns off if the door has been left open for five minutes (the time is up to you). It can also turn on again automatically after the door has been closed.
Just like advanced lighting control, any air-conditioner can be controlled from any part of the house. This allows you to have a bedside button which turns off the living, dining and family rooms when you go to sleep at night. A similar button may be located next to the garage door to power down when you are leaving home or turn everything on when you arrive.

Integrating air-conditioning and fans into your Home Control system not only makes life easier by using the same Keypads and Touch-panels, it is far more energy efficient.
